My favorite subject is creativity, but not just the kind that paints paintings, draws pictures, and makes music though, no. I am talking about the type of creativity that breathes life into all the choices you make, words you say, intentions you offer energetically, and the thoughts you think. Simply put, my interest is consistently in the observation of understanding how life experience is created through the application of thought, word, intention and action.
When I think of creativity, I think of manifestation. A manifestation is the creation that occurs when inspiration is channeled into action which will eventually come to form. Everyone is after the manifestations in life. Everyone is dreaming of, and longing for the materialisation of the object of their desire.
I have been heavily immersed into the 'Spiritual' and Spiritualist community, (they are not the same), as well as the Metaphysical and New Age communities since I was in my teens. I have seen a thing or two that could raise the hairs on the back of your neck to put it mildly. I will not speak of those things here though, well at least, not yet anyway! But what I will speak of it that what I have observed is the growing, almost exploding interest in the subject of the Universal Law of Attraction.
I think this is amazing, and we are right on track since this is a time in our world where an ascension of consciousness is taking place. Essentially this is a time of awakening to the realization of who we really are, and of the REAL powers that lie within us. I can't think of a better way to drive the realization of this new awareness than through the study and practice of the Law of Attraction. It is a good place to begin since most people are concerned with the acquisition of the three dimensional things that characterize the nature of our world.
I am fascinated about how people preach, and teach and lecture about the Universal Law of Attraction, with a consistent reference to how they want to use it to attain and accomplish the physical manifestation of all the things they want in their lives, typically money, homes, cars, lovers and/or whatever else it is. These are all the things that they believe will make them feel happier, more fulfilled, and more of an accomplished somebody in the having of them.
People revel in the materialisation of their desires because there is nothing more satisfying than sitting back, seeing the fulfilment of your wish come to life before your eyes. This feeling of satisfaction is short lived though, because of how we are wired spiritually at a Soul level. The true life giving power is in the CREAT-ING of our desires, not in observation of the CREAT-ION itself. By the time a physical manifestation of a desire has occurred, the creative process itself is over.
The actualisation of a thing is the final stage in the alignment of energies in the creative process. It is a process that brings form to feelings. In the creative process, inspiration that comes from the spirit becomes infused with emotion. This is the non physical part of us, the spirit, talking to the physical human part of us. The human part of us then moves toward the aligned action, eventually bring form to our desire. The manifestation will then occur if we allow it. The allowing part requires trust, letting go, a surrender to faith, and patience. In fact no, not patience, because faith knows that even if the manifestation does not occur right away, we are still at ease with life just the way it is. True faith does not require patience. It requires a letting go.
You must not NEED a manifestation to occur to complete you, you must be complete in yourself. You must not need a manifestation to occur before you will be happy. You must first be happy within yourself. This state of being can only come from a total surrender into TRUST and FAITH. This is where the Law of Allowing comes into the equation. It is one thing to ask for something, but it is certainly another to allow it into your experience. This is where the real works lies, in the allowing of things.
I have come to realise that the more we understand the process of creation, and how it is the creativity itself that is the life giving force that drives us, the less we need the manifestations to occur before we can be happy. We are already complete if we allow ourselves to relax into feelings of joy, satisfaction, appreciation and love no matter where we are. It is these emotional states that will pull you into pure alignment with Soul and Source in any situation. It is in awareness that our ability to allow is nurtured.
Imagine writing a book, or creating a painting, or even having a baby, think of the flow, the feeling of inspiration, the anticipation, the excitement, and the inspired feeling as you journey through the expression of your deepest passion, flowing out into your projects. Think of how you feel as you they unfold, coming to life step by step before your eyes. This is where the life is, in the moment. Our Soul sings in this energy, it exists for the expression, the movement, the freedom and mainly the expansion.
Once you understand this, and really become this, it will be then that you can truly understand the nature of creativity, and where your true power lies. You will realize what ignites it, what fosters it and what nurtures it, and even what cuts it off.
The thing about creative energy is that wants to move. It is dynamic, it is flowing, it is fluid and it does not like to remain rooted in one place. Creative energy is what drives expansion, and expansion can only occur when things are moving, changing, flowing and growing. What drives the Soul is the desire for that expansion, and creativity is what fulfills that urge. This is what purpose truly is.
There is freedom in creativity, and it is creativity that moves you.
